Isabel Kaeslin – Philosophy PhD Columbia University

I’m a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, in the ERC project Ethics of Doubt.

Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Fribourg.

I received my PhD from Columbia University in 2019. Before that, I obtained a BA in Philosophy and Sociology, and an MA in Philosophy and Educational Sciences (summa cum laude) at the University of Basel.

I was a visiting PhD student at Yale University in the 2017-18 academic year, a visiting MA student at the University of Chicago in the fall 2012, and a visiting BA student at the University of Missouri, St. Louis in the spring 2010.

I’m a first-gen student and a mother of a 7-year old.
